Cyber Fusion to break Guinness World Record

LAST year, a Guinness World Record was set at Nvision 2008 in the United States where 203 PC gamers participated in a gaming marathon for 36 hours on LAN (local area network) creatinga world record for the longest LAN party ever hosted.
AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), Cyberview, GameGen and Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) with collaboration from Game Developers’ Club (GDC) of Multimedia University (MMU) have risen to the challenge in an attempt to smash the current record holders with an event of even bigger results, codenamed: Cyber Fusion. The benchmark being set will be to put 250 dedicated gamers to play video games for 38 straight hours. It looks like spending countless hours in local cyber cafes has finally paid off as Malaysian gamers get ready to put their endurance and skills to the test. Cyber Fusion takes place from April 10 till 12 at the Grand Hall, MMU Cyberjaya.
